About Us
A Journey That Began in 2015
The journey of WYSEC began in 2015 under the name Om Yoga Foundation International, founded by Avinash K M in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
With its original head office located in Marathalli, Bangalore, the organisation started with a mission to promote Yoga and provide meaningful opportunities for aspiring Yoga practitioners and students.
As the organisation grew, its activities expanded into Yogasana Sports, national and international competitions, athlete development, Yoga education, instructor training, wellness initiatives and global collaborations.
This growth led to the evolution of the organisation into the World Yoga & Sports Education Council (WYSEC) — a broader platform committed to advancing Yoga, Sports and Education at both national and international levels.
Today, WYSEC continues to inspire individuals and institutions through competitive excellence, educational opportunities and international exposure.
